Stonehenge, the ancient and mysterious monument, has baffled and interested people for centuries. Because of the type of rock, it’s clear to tell that the big, heavy stones that have been placed in a circle were brought to England from Wales, 140 miles away. Archaeologists puzzled over how people possibly brought them to where they wanted them. Then, a few years ago, after all this time of being wowed and impressed, researchers decided to try moving some big ol’ stones in the same way that they thought ancient people did it, and guess what they found out? It was actually kind of easy! They couldn’t believe how efficiently the simple method they tried worked. Wham, bam, giant stones moved!
The whole thing reminds me of MSQC’s tutorials. People look at the stunning finished project and think “How did you do that? It must have been so hard!” But the secret is that it looks so much more difficult than it was!
Stonehenge Gradations II - Gemstone Strips contains 40 2.5" x 44" strips of fabric. 100% cotton. The gorgeous colors and textures from Northcott’s Stonehenge line continue in the Stonehenge Gradations II collection by Linda Ludovico.
